Synopsis: Swept into the Italian's arms... Independent and strong-willed, Celia Ryland never lets her blindness affect the way she lives her life she thrives on feeling free! Gorgeous Italian Francesco Rinucci has never met a woman with such a zest for life he loves everything about Celia. But he finds himself wanting to wrap her in cotton wool to protect his precious English rose from all that's dangerous in the world... And although Celia is falling fast for passionate Francesco, she needs to show him that truly loving someone means letting them be free...

Review: OK, first: beef. What the heck is up with Harlequin titles lately? It's like they've gone back to the titles from the 70's!! Ok, beef over.

This is a fantastic story about a blind heroin, Celia, who is incredibly strong. Her love, Francesco, doesn't know how to handle her independence.

Unlike most romances, this one starts mid-stream. It does flash-back to when they met, but otherwise, we're seeing the big fight and the recovery from that.

I loved the growth of BOTH characters. True love is both give and take, and this book has both.

I didn't like the whole series thing (the Rinucci brothers!) - I am not a sucker who buys into every series I read a part of. In addition, there is a bunch of detail about the rest of this series that I found both confusing and a little off-putting. But it does flesh out Francesco's family, which is important.

I really, really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend.
