There is background information about James' Gospel, and commentary on how it has been perceived throughout the ages. The sections are personally challenging.

Synopsis: An update of the original LifeChange series, this in-depth study of James will empower students to grow spiritually and go deeper into God's Word.

Review: The women's group at my church has just started using this book, but so far we really love it. There are very good thought provoking questions and great questions to foster openness and sharing within the group. It's a good balance of studying the word and finding application. I feel like it's a little more "user friendly" than the NavPress Life Change series. I highly recommend it.
